24

OK, I know it has been a while, but such is life, at times. Anybody here watch 24 last night. Oh my goodness!! There are spoilers ahead, if for some reason you have not seen it, or heard about it, and are planning on it.

First off, I love this show. What other show starts off the season by killing two of its charcters? My wife thinks I'm crazy but I really like this show. Anyways...

Last week, there was the beloved chubby guy Edgar who died when he was stuck outside of a containment room and breathed in the evil sentox gas. That was kind of sad, and very unexpected for me. That was pretty exciting last week. There is something very strange when a show kills off a semi major character. It was, as I said a sad moment last week.

However, this week...oh man! Just when you think that there may be a bit of calm, nope...You know folks are dead and it's a difficult situation over at CTU, but it is about to get worse.
For those that did not know, Sean Astin, also know as Samwise Gamgee (or Rudy) joined the CTU staff as a boss who lost his keycard and his mind. Because he lost his keycard and didn't tell anyone, a terrorist got in and planted this gas.

In an effort to redeem himself, he is given the opportunity to save the others by sacrificing himself (and the officer in the room). They will all die if he does nothing, and only the two will die if he does something. Of course, he does something, and as a result, he dies much like Edgar did last week.

After this we see Tony Alameda, one of the few cast members to live through the first five seasons. He is wanting to take revenge on the person responsible for the death of his wife. He wants to but Jack convinces him to wait, but Jack took too long and decided to take a needle filled with liquid of death and was about to plunge it into the heart of the bad guy.

But Tony stalls having second thoughts. Good, but not so good. Mr. Henderson wakes up from a "coma" and proceeds to plunge the needle once meant for him into Tony's chest!!! What!?! I was freaking out on the inside. I could not believe what I was seeing. Could it be true!? Th show ends with what seems to be Tony dying in Jack's arms. Holy cow...Unbelievable.
This show is wonderful. Even if my wife disagrees. And I'm not even paid for this endorsement.

Hey hey. I don't disagree that it is interesting. It is just not my type of show. Nice summary, by the way.

If you just keep giving us updates, I'll never have to see an episode myself. I don't have a tv anymore anyways.

Responses are in order received...David, sorry if I spoiled anything. I will be sure to remind you of a spoil alert.

Beautiful Tracy, I know people are different, but everyone should love 24. That is my opinion and it is the truth. :-)

Austin, thanks for posting. you have no TV, how do you live?! :-) Probably peacefully, productive and intellectually stimulated.

My wife watches Monk.I have a hard enough time trying to keep up with the "Clue" type of activity on each of those shows. I may muster up some additional brain cells and give 24 a try.
