Old, but Ridiculous

This is silly. Isiah Washington has to go to therapy for making a comment about someone being a "faggot". Is he dumb for saying that? Sure. Does he "hate" homosexuals? Who knows? I am not so sure that calling someone a name is always hateful. Surely, it is sometimes. But there seems to be a freedom of speech that Americans have long fought for. Even dumb speech.

Homosexual activists call those who disagree with their sexual preferences, homophobic, or intolerant, or bigoted, which seems at least as "hateful" as Washington's comments ; maybe more. I don't think they are playing nice, but I don't think they need to go to therapy for calling names or even for there disgust for those who disagree with them.

Just seems silly. For grownups. But we will probably see more of it before it stops.
