Wow, I can't believe it's been ten days since I posted. it has been a busy week. Trying to keep things going smoothly for my kids at school. Getting home so my beautiful wife can feel more beautiful by getting her nails done. Thanks to my sister. And getting her hair done. Thanks to my aunt and Grandma for paying for it.
All for her birthday. She's my beautiful "old lady" of 25. :-) Her sister got to fly out for her birthday and we had a nice lunch at our current favorite local italian restaurant with some family and friends.
I know I am biased (I usually try to admit when I am), but I have a pretty amazing wife. I am truly thankful to have her and hold her till death do us part.
Which reminds me of an odd situation. While at the italian restaurant, there was a group of people across from us celebrating the life of a recently deceased family member. They had the poster up showing pictures of the recently deceased. The odd part was not noticed till the end. "Grandpa" was still there, at the table, in a shiny bronze urn, next to the food...I'm sorry for those that think that is ok...I would so not want to be the one sitting near "Grandpa".
I am sorry, but that would not be ok for me. I was conforted by my sister; she said I did not have to bring her for her last meal. Yeah, but, she did not have to worry...Wasn't a chance in...well...ever, that that would happen. :-)
Go live for Jesus...He died for you.

Well, I had a wonderful birthday! Having my sister and nephew out was so much fun. My hair turned out really nice. Grandma is so thoughtful. The lunch was great...of course, and my parents were very generous to pay for it. And then the "after party" was very nice, too. I am very, very blessed and couldn't have asked for a better birthday. Thanks, Der, for being so supportive in helping me to feel better about myself.
