He's right.

I refer to the author of this post: Triablogue: Political Will and Cultural Elites

Just think of what ridiculous times we now live in: a hack like Clay Aiken can make news by going on TV and arguing for “same-sex marriage” by a line of reasoning that immediately harkens back to Matthew 7.13-14 (along with 1 Corinthians 6.9-10), not to mention what dad always told us: “If everybody else ran and jump off a cliff would you do it too?”  Perhaps this would not be the case if Christians or conservatives had not ceded power to people with foolish, darkened hearts long ago as Mr. Schultz mentions.
