Diversity-Slipping Down the Slope

I read an article the other day about the lady in (or from)London who married her dolphin. OK, I had to check Snopes to see if it was true, but it seems to be though I am not entirely certain.

I thought about it being similar to same-sex marriage and many of the same reasons for doing so, though I had not completely thought it through. Doug TenNapel does a good job of outlining the reasons it would be ok using some very familiar arguments.

A Sample:

1. Who would ever choose this lifestyle? Can you imagine the ridicule this
woman will face for following her heart? The fact that she wouldn't choose
this says we shouldn't judge her.

Seem familiar? Click here to read the whole tongue in cheek blog.

I liked this quote from the bride, "I'm the happiest girl on earth," the bride said as she chocked back tears of emotion. "I made a dream come true, and I am not a pervert."

I cannot help but chuckle. "But what kind of children would they have?" a child asked. Does it matter? Gays cannot naturally have kids, and it does not stop them from trying to obtain some. So maybe the new couple could adopt.

I really can't blame the dolphin. The gal is kind of cute. Where will the dolphin wear the wedding band? So, is the dolphin going to move to the bride's apartment or is the bride going to move into the dolphin tank? This is one twisted young lady. Hey, maybe she is scamming to write a book. " How I FIN true love"

I think she is merely gonna continue visiting her "husband". Of course, it is an open marriage as the bride does not mind if he fools around and has kids with another. The more the merrier, she says.

I love the title, though it does sound a bit fishy...Thanks for posting.

Plus the anniversary present could be a bucket of fish. Ta da. That was easy.

Or What do you get the groom who has everything? People are strange to be sure, and the rest of them read other blogs and marry Flipper.

Much Love,
