Quote of the Day Lost Grandmama

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is. Ellen DeGeneres

Another funny one. Classic Ellen. Though I can't approve of or support her sexual orientation, she is still funny. I can appreciate the difference between her and someone like Rosie. Rosie used to be funny until she made her sexual preference the issue. Ellen surely made waves by coming out on her comedy show several years back, which consequently, did not do well as a result (or at least it contributed) of her homosexuality, becoming the main issue.

However, Ellen's talk show is very often funny because she is funny and also happens to be gay, instead of an attitude of "I'm funny because I'm gay and if you don't like it...[insert insult here]") And there's few people that don't know she's gay. But I appreciate that she is not militant about her "lifestyle"-also know as sin.

At least that is the way I see it,
Derrick

I agree with you about Ellen. She gives me a good laugh. And any of the things I have seen with her have been clean comedy, which I appreciate. She is just funny without making her homosexuality the main topic all of the time.
