Here is a story about a High School Principal who resigned because a Gay Rights club was forming on the campus.
I appreciate this man's convictions. It was, for sure, a difficult decision in light of all the crap he is receiving for standing up for what he believes.

Walker said the club — which he said would be the first based on sexual
orientation, preference or activity at the school — conflicts with the school's
abstinence-only education and may prompt students to have sex.
"I feel the formation of a Gay/Straight Alliance Club at Irmo High
school implies that students joining the club will have chosen to or will choose
to engage in sexual activity with members of the same sex, opposite sex, or
members of both sexes," he wrote.
---Is this a reasonable assumption? I am not sure it is, but I can see how this could be because being gay is not simply about being attracted to a member of the opposite sex, but also having sex with them and perhaps this group provides a place to facilitate that. He could be wrong, but think about if there was a bestiality group. Would it be safe to assume that those involved in the club will have chosen or will choose to engage in this activity?
In his letter, Walker wrote he prayed about the issue before stepping down and
asked board members to "respect my choice as I respect your choice to disagree
with me on this issue."
---I think this is a gracious response by the principal. But will he get the same respect?
Gay-rights group Faith in America said Walker's decision is based on
prejudice that is harmful to students and likened his decision to policies that
once allowed segregation to flourish.
"We truly believe it is unfortunate that this principal cannot see the
immense harm that is caused when a social climate of rejection, condemnation and
violence is justified with misguided religious belief," said Brent Childers,
executive director of the group.---How can what this principal did be equated with condemnation and violence? Folks just because he cannot condone the actions of the homosexual, does nto mean he automatically condones bullying of any of his students. This assertion is so tired.
One Irmo High School student, saddened by Walker's decision, said the principal was leaving for the wrong reasons.
"The reason he's leaving is not a good reason," Brion Hayes told WACH-TV. "He does a good job; he cares about the students that go to his school."

---I do not expect the student to give any reasons why the principal is mistaken, but it is common for others to simply assert that the other person is wrong..."anyone can see that", they seem to say. And they get away with that in the general media. It is easier to emote that you don't like something than it is to offer reasons for disagreement.
