First Sam, now Pat Morita, known as Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid or Al (I think) from Happy Days.
Here is a short article outlining several items of interest from his life.
I thought it most interesting that he was sent to a Japanese-American internment camp in Arizona during World War II.
It is interesting to think of how little we sometimes know about people. Anyone know of anybody in their life that they probably know little about? I know there are people in my life that way, and I know I am that person for people in my life. Hmmm.
